Step into the spotlight! This semester, students and adults alike are invited to discover the joy, energy, and creativity of musical theatre through classes designed to build confidence, strengthen skills, and inspire a love of performance. From elementary students learning songs and choreography from beloved musicals to high school students preparing for auditions and adults sharpening their dance and music skills, there’s an opportunity for every level and every kind of performer to grow. With experienced local teaching artists, supportive instruction, and a semester-ending showcase, these classes offer the chance to learn, connect, take creative risks, and bring your unique voice to the stage.
Classes for Kids & Teens
Musical Theatre Elementary School
Ages: K-5th Grade
Instructor: Erin Fowler
Day/Time: Tuesdays from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Dates: September 15 - November 6, 2026
Showcase: Friday, November 6 at 6:00 p.m.
Tuition: $160
In this fun and engaging musical theatre class, students will build confidence, creativity, and performance skills while learning songs and choreography from beloved musicals including Seussical, The Greatest Showman, Oliver!, and High School Musical. Through theatre games, movement, storytelling, and ensemble work, students will strengthen their acting, singing, and collaboration skills in a supportive environment.
The semester concludes with a showcase featuring all Musical Theatre classes on Friday, November 6, at 6:00 p.m. An Arkansas native and Hendrix College graduate, Erin Fowler grew up immersed in the vibrant central Arkansas theatre community. She spent seven seasons as a teaching artist and choreographer with the former Arkansas Arts Center Children’s Theatre, where she helped bring productions like Schoolhouse Rock Live!, The Odyssey, The Hobbit, and The Boy Who Cried Wolf to life. Erin loves guiding young artists as they explore storytelling, build confidence, and develop their unique creative voices.
Musical Theatre Middle School
Ages: 6th - 8th Grade
Instructor: Jess Mylonas
Day/Time: Thursdays from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.
Dates: September 17 - November 6, 2026
Showcase: Friday, November 6 at 6:00 p.m.
Tuition: $240
This class celebrates each student’s unique talents while building confidence and performance skills in a collaborative, supportive environment. Through storytelling, music, and character development, students will explore the creative process while developing their artistic voice.

The semester concludes with a showcase featuring all Musical Theatre classes on Friday, November 6, at 6:00 p.m. Jess Mylonas is a seasoned performer with over 15 years experience working as a professional vocalist, over 10 years experience in Musical Theatre performance, as well as nearly 10 years working as a professional voiceover actor. She has produced an album of original music and has a background in secondary education with 6 years teaching in the NLRSD. Jess is excited to help your child discover the multifaceted creative process that the musical theatre world has gifted to her.
Musical Theatre High School
Ages: 9th - 12th Grade
Instructor: Angela Collier and Brian Earles
Day/Time: Tuesdays from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Dates: September 15 - November 6, 2026
Showcase: Friday, November 6 at 6:00 p.m.
Tuition: $240
Students will discover what makes them unique as artists and learn how to use those strengths both onstage and in the audition room. By the end of the class, each student will have two professionally edited audition song cuts and a working knowledge of foundational dance terminology and technique, including plié, tendu, grand battement, pirouette en dehors (to both sides), and grand jeté.
In addition to individual skill development, students will collaborate to understand the value of being a strong ensemble member. Through acting, music, and dance, they will create characters with distinct points of view, rich backstories, and clear objectives. Students will leave the class with greater confidence, a deeper commitment to their craft, and practical tools they can apply to future performances and auditions.
The semester concludes with a showcase featuring all Musical Theatre classes on Friday, November 6, at 6:00 p.m. Angela Kay Collier is a singer, actor, teaching artist, and music director who holds a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre from Ouachita Baptist University where she graduated cum laude. She has collaborated with many theaters across the United States – including Missoula Children’s Theatre, Dallas Children’s Theatre, Wildwood Park, The Rep, and ACT. In 2026, Angela was a recipient of the Catalyze grant supported by Mid-America Arts Alliance & The Windgate Foundation. Angela is passionate about fostering human connection and empowering individuals to find their voice, believing that everyone has a compelling story to share. She owns and operates her own voice studio, AKCollier Studio, LLC. In addition to ACT, Brian Earles has enjoyed teaching at other quality institutions, serving as an adjunct instructor at UCA, and through a residency at Henderson College. Brian also enjoys a relationship with the Arkansas Festival Ballet, bringing musical theater to their summer intensive programs.

Musical Theatre Dance Techniques
Ages: Teens 16+ and Adults

This class exists to strengthen your foundation, develop your technique, and push your dance skills to the next level.
Monday classes will focus on- foundational skills, technique, musicality, and movement quality - giving you the tools to become a stronger, more confident dancer. Thursday classes will apply those skills through choreography, offering you the opportunity to apply technique, improve memory, and perform movement with intention and style.
Whether you’re a beginner starting your journey, or a seasoned dancer looking to sharpen your skills, this class is for anyone who is ready to sweat, work hard, and grow. Come prepared to challenge yourself, step outside your comfort zone, and leave each class stronger than when you walked in.
The semester concludes with a showcase featuring all Musical Theatre classes on Friday, November 6, at 6:00 p.m. In addition to ACT, Brian Earles has enjoyed teaching at other quality institutions, serving as an adjunct instructor at UCA, and through a residency at Henderson College. Brian also enjoys a relationship with the Arkansas Festival Ballet, bringing musical theater to their summer intensive programs.
Music Theory ages 16+
Ages: Teens 16+ and Adults

Day/Time: Saturdays from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.
Dates: September 19 - November 7, 2026
Tuition: $240
Does music notation look like a foreign language to you? Then this is the class for you! This course will give you a strong foundation in the essential music skills needed to thrive in musical theatre, including music theory, sight-singing, aural skills, rhythm, and basic piano skills.
Students will learn how to navigate a musical score, understand musical terminology and symbols, count rhythms, and use their ears to learn and retain melodies. You’ll also gain practical tools for auditions and rehearsals, including how to mark audition cuts, identify your vocal line, and work more confidently with accompanists and music directors.
John Bell completed a Bachelor of Music in Music Education at the University of Missouri at Columbia where he graduated cum laude. He has experience teaching a variety of ages, plays the clarinet, and is an avid fan of historical and modern music alike.
