How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse
ACTing Up is ACT’s flagship summer theatre program for young artists, continuing a tradition that began in 2014. This summer, we are expanding this programming to include both a musical and a play. Join us this summer for Disney's Little Mermaid & 10 Ways to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse.
Designed for students in 3rd-12th grade, ACTing Up offers an immersive three-week experience where students explore acting, singing, storytelling, design, production, and the collaborative process of creating theatre. Guided by professional teaching artists, students of all experience levels are encouraged to build their skills, discover their creative voices, and find their place within an ensemble.

Whether they love being in the spotlight or prefer creating the magic behind the scenes, every student has an opportunity to contribute, collaborate, and grow. The program culminates in a showcase performance celebrating the creativity, growth, and accomplishments of the students.

ImpACT Artists
Hadestown: Teen Edition
ImpACT Artists is ACT’s artistic leadership program for high school students who are ready to take their theatre training to the next level. From February - August, 2027, students will grow as artists, collaborators, and leaders while working alongside professional artists and arts educators. The program goes beyond performance, giving students hands-on experience in leadership, collaboration, design, production, and the many professional pathways available within the arts.
Through sustained mentorship and meaningful responsibility, students will develop their creative voices, build professional skills, and gain a deeper understanding of what it means to create theatre as an artist and member of a creative team. The inaugural cohort will culminate in a fully produced mainstage production of Hadestown: Teen Edition.
